     At Work

This overview of Oaks Park and the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Reserve had been on my mind for some time before I got around to starting it. Every year I enter a painting or two at the Multnomah County Fair held there. Last year they asked me if I would do a painting on the grounds. I did one of the grounds instead.       A lot of people stopped to talk to me while I worked on this one. Most enjoyably; the couple that bought it off the easel. By the time I finished this canvas, most of the trees were bare.
